I have been thinking about my own species for some time. So I created one! Their named Whiskered Dragonpaws. (I usually call tem – Whiskers or just Dragonpaws).
I should warn you – Here comes tones of TEXT!! You don’t have to read all what came to my mind, but if you want to adopt one of them – read GENERAL FACTS.
HYSTORY:
Many years ago in a land (far-far away) of different magical creatures lived in love and harmony The Goddess of Dragons and The God of Cats. One day a satyr came to their palace and asked – “Who is better – cats or dragons?” (Oh that simple question – Who is better? - can ruin empires!!)) The Goddess thought that it was obvious and said – “Dragons life is long, they are wise and magical!” These words offended The God of Cats, and he went to the Earth and asked all magical creatures. But the answer was always different. The thing that was just an argument for Gods turned into a war for magical creatures. When The Goddess came to see what had happened – she saw a fierce battle. Desperate, she asked The God of Cats for help – and he did the only one thing that came to his mind – he mixed fighting creatures together. The Goddess gave him a form of little (around 40 cm) cat-looking creatures with dragon powers. But, as long as other creatures were involved in the battle – some of little ones have Unicorns or even Pegasus features. Lots of wounded DragonPaws were saved by magicians, and despite the fact, that they have their own industry and even small countries; they preferred to turn into familiars. They have been living with their owners for years – protecting and helping them.
GENERAL FACTS:
1. These little ones mostly are cat-looking and have lots of cats features – they can puurrr, they have shining pupils (Only colored - NOT black), can hide their claws and staff. From dragons they have magic powers and sometimes horns-wings.
2. All of them have an ability to feel the emotions of their owners (More whiskers-more power) and to eat their bad feelings - to help them be happier.
3. All DragonPaws are born with only one pair of whiskers. (The little one in the picture).
4. Simple DragonPaws are only boys. They have two pairs of whiskers and only one ability - to feel emotions. (The magma cat).
5. The privileged Dragonpaws are mostly girls – they have more powers, knowledge and two abilities. (Girls are highly respected in their society, because they’re rare). They also usually have some Unicorn-fox-other creature’s features too – like more tails for example. (Girl in kimono).
6. Very rare is noble DragonPaws. Most of them are boys. Usually they have tons of fur, horns, wings, tails and staff. They life is longer (around 1000 years) than the life of simple whiskered little one (500 years). These once are usually very famous in their society. (Prince)
7. And the last category is Undead-once. They are like bad experiments. (They were made because one of the mixed creatures was dying). They live in the city of Ice and are not very welcomed in the capital of Light. Most of Dragonpaws are just afraid of them. (will draw soon).
8. Three grand fears of Dragonpaws are – their own whiskers (The most painful wound for them is to lose their whiskers), cold and loneliness. (For Undead ones – heat and crowds).
9. It’s hard to kill these little once (Some can survive even without whiskers). But most of them are really sentimental and they can die of shock if something bad happenes with their owners.
10. All of them have pets made from fur. They help casting spells and staff.
Soo go ahead –
1. 50-70 points. Belongs to -
This little one will be a very good cook, as long as he has an unbelievable love to sweets. Now he’s little, but when he grows up he will have three pairs of whiskers and will be able to create sweets from nowhere.
2. 70-100 points. -
This is a simple whisker. Although he has no active special ability (only to feel the emotions) he was born in Magma town – so he can stand any type of high temperature.
3. 150-200 points.
This girl was born in the capital of Light. She was one of the students in magical academy. She’s very smart and intelligent. But sometimes she will tell her owner what to do. She has an ability to protect her owner with a shield.
4. Prince XD 200-250 points. belongs to -
He’s noble with four pairs of whiskers. He has an ability to make everyone silent. He’s full of pride and not very talkative, but kind and caring.
YOU CAN:
-Change their story and design a bit.
-Think off their name and most features of character.
-Love them :333
YOU CAN’T:
-Claim the species as yours.
-Change their gender (too much difference between boys and girls).
-Change the number of their whiskers to more.
